Bond with your Coaching Client

Why Every Successful Coaching Relationship Must Be A Written Mutual Agreement

The quickest way to disconnect with your coaching client is to enter the relationship in the absence of a written agreement. In the absence of a written contractual agreement, there are no guidelines to instruct the course of the relationship. Always have a written contract

According to Craig Valentine, Coach and client must ”Reach an agreement on what you both expect from the coaching process…”

Successful Coaching relationships are reliant on how well you set parameter which include fee, logistic and scheduling.

Four main features of the coaching relationship are:

1. What the coaching client can expect from you as a coach

2. What you expect from them as a client

3. Become an active listener

4. Build rapport with your clients

Bond with your Coaching Client by Actively Listening, Building Rapport and Establishing a Coaching Agreement that must be agreed upon and signed by both Client and Coach.

Note: Bond well with your clients and create long lasting profitable relationships.

Knowing Your Audience Will Insure an Awesome Ovation And A Standing Invitations

Why Every Successful Speaker Must Know Their Audience

The quickest way to connect with your audience is to know as much about as many of them as possible. During you Opening, Body and closing, you be able to bring audience members into the presentation with you. Make your speech interactive by getting the audience to participate. According to Craig Valentine, “Audience members may forget what you tell them, but they will remember what they say to themselves.”

Successful Presentations are reliant on how well the speaker is able to garner audience participation. In short stories within your speech, you must know the audience so that you will be able to tell stories that are believable and that they will be able to own.

Pre-speech research in a vital part of being able to meet the audience where they are. Also, when the presenter is on the stage speaking to the audience, it is good to assess the level of energy of the audience just before you begin and throughout your speech. This is how you get connected and stay connected with your audience.

3 Ways to Get to Know Your Audience

1. Prepare a written survey of key questions relative to your subject matter and allow member of the audience to fill in the survey in advance.

2. Arrive early and circulate among audience members and ask them questions.

3. Email Questions to upper management as to what “Next Step” they wish audience employee to take?

These simple steps will help to insure the success of your next Presentations and your successful rate of re-hire.

Note: Please keep an audience questionnaire and interview file.
